Frequently Asked Questions...
How do we start using the ToxBox® JustGo™ plates?
JustGo™ plates are designed to run on most LC-MS/MS platforms. To get started, your lab will complete a method validation on your instrument. Our team provides guidance, templates, and support to make this process efficient so you can move quickly into routine surveillance.
Once validated, how does sample processing work?
The JustGo™ workflow was developed to make routine urine drug surveillance as simple as possible. Operators simply aliquot urine samples directly into the plate, incubate to allow the β-glucuronidase to perform hydrolysis, and then place the plate in the autosampler for analysis.
There is no additional sample preparation required—no manual extraction steps and no separate preparation of calibrators, quality controls, or internal standards.
You add samples and JustGo™.
How do we validate our instrument?
A PinPoint Testing offers a streamlined validation approach using customized plate formats and a field-verified process. You can choose to:
- Perform validation internally with remote support from our toxicology experts, or
- Have a PinPoint consultant come onsite to guide your team through validation and training
This ensures your method is robust, compliant, and production-ready.
We don’t have a triple quadrupole (TQ) instrument in our laboratory. Are these products suitable for other technologies?
The workflow is optimized for triple quadrupole (TQ) LC-MS/MS systems, but it can be adapted for QTOF platforms. If you’re unsure about compatibility, our team can review your setup and recommend the best path forward.
We are new to mass spectrometry - how do we get started?
Getting started is easier than you think. Through our partnership with Bruker, the Lab Accelerator Program helps labs purchase, install, and become production-ready in as little as 6–8 weeks.
If you’re considering adding mass spectrometry, learn more about the Lab Accelerator Program here.
